Ameriprise Calls Main Street Home Again

Six months after re-locating, the members of the Ameriprise office have settled in quite nicely into their new home.  Within the past year or so the Ameriprise office has had a couple of different locations. But now, the office and its occupants are right where they want to be, and that is back on Main Street in Bluffton.

Located at 147 N Main St., Ameriprise is the office of financial planner Greg Averesch and attorney David Rodabaugh. Ameriprise moved to its current location on March, 1 2010 and before re-settling there, the office was on Elm Street temporarily, only for about eight months. However, before moving to Elm Street, which occurred in July 2009, the office had been located where Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn Company resides, and it had been at that location for over 20 years.

Bluffton Library Celebrates 75th Anniversary

The Bluffton Public Library will be celebrating its 75th anniversary all month long throughout September. The theme of the celebration is titled “Celebrate the Good Old Days.” The theme is intended to honor the 1930’s, a simpler time and the decade in which the library first opened its doors, officially on May 13, 1935.

Activities have been planned through September and they include a family storytime, classic book discussion, classic film screenings, vintage toy program, “name that tune” and “name that gadget” contests, make-and-take crafts, 1930s trivia and displays and prize drawings. Pamphlets of the scheduled events in September are available in the library listing the day, time and type of event.
